Fresh Pops of Green

Yes, emerald green has been named the color of the year for 2013. But, trend or not, we always love the fresh, crisp look of green...in a spectrum of shades, from pale lime to deep emerald. 

Green adds an element of nature and freshness to any living space. 

We've come across a lot of inspiration lately, from reading local design blogs like Laura Casey Interiors and BeSoStyle.... to seeing many-a-green-themed pin on pinterest  (be sure to link here to follow us).

 Another design trend we've been noticing a lot lately is touches of gold and brass.  Bright metallics are back.  And as you'd expect, with a fresh  new interpretation.

 

Lighting is the perfect way to incorporate golden influences, whether with a striking pendant or an interesting task lamp.
