A Post & Gray Sendoff

Staff, merchants, and family gathered Wednesday night to celebrate Garland Potts' time at Post & Gray and wish her congratulations on her exciting move abroad.  After over two years at Post & Gray, Garland is leaving for Madrid, Spain to continue her marketing career.  We will miss her always cheerful presence at the store, amazing photographs and eye for computer design, but could not be happier for her taking this wonderful opportunity.  We can't wait to see her pictures and read her blog.  Updates to follow!

Post & Gray staff got together for Garland's sendoff.  Everyone enjoyed Mac's Speedshop BBQ and Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets and sweet tea.  All things Garland will miss in Madrid!

DIY - Great weekend project!

I was checking out some quick and easy projects to try and home and came across this great idea! Taking doorknobs and turning them into a great coat rack or wall racks.  We have these great door knobs here from Purple Pepper:

Here were some examples I found on Pinterest.  It was really neat to see what other people were coming up with on their own --

Specifically this picture below jumped out to me because we have all the elements here at Post & Gray to put this together! We have a mantle and the door knobs needed to do this at home. It is such a great idea for a unique look in your home.  You could even mix and match the types of door knobs to get a different look.
